No Mercy Racing Become Nitro Outlaws

NO MERCY RACING (NMR) TO COMPETE IN NITRO OUTLAW DRAG RACING ASSOCIATION

2018 Schedule

The No Mercy Nitro Funny Car team is proud to announce participation in the newly formed Nitro Outlaw Drag Racing Association that debuts March 17th at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona.  Each race is invite only and held in conjunction with the National Hot Rod Diesel Association events that have an impressive record of 3.5 million viewers in 2017.  The Nitro Outlaws will bring excitement and fan participation back to drag racing through online event streaming, fan text/online voting for pairings, and individual “challenges”.  This innovative approach to making drag racing great again is a sure way to bring despondent racing fans back to the track with renewed enthusiasm.  Fans will be treated to ground pounding 8,000+ horsepower Nitro Funny Cars and Top Fuel Dragsters that understand the importance of putting on a quality show.

Nitro Outlaw rules limit the nitromethane percentage to a maximum of 80% and limit blower (manifold) pressure to 60 lbs. in order to reduce the potential for engine damage.  These rules will make it easier for teams to make each round and also reduce lengthy delays due to oil downs.  No Mercy Racing (NMR) is bringing in long-time nitro veteran Jeff Arend as a tuning consultant to prepare the Dodge Charger Hemi as a championship contender for the scheduled four Nitro Outlaw races.  “Jeff has demonstrated a wide breadth of knowledge and experience while helping out the Russo’s NHRA Nitro Funny Car as they have made substantial progress over the last 4 – 5 races”, commented Chris Bennett, Owner/Driver of NMR.  Team Chief and NMR partner Brad Miner adds, “Jeff fits well within our team dynamic and in addition to his knowledge base, he has tremendous contacts throughout the sport that are willing to assist when called upon.  Jeff understands the mindset of what it is like to run as a self-funded, independent team; not only is he going to help put NMR in the Nitro Outlaw winner’s circle, but he’s a friend and a great instructor that can teach us how to eventually run the car ourselves.”

No Mercy Racing offers a unique sponsorship opportunity to businesses looking to capitalize on a diverse niche market not typically targeted.  Through our various programs and partnerships, NMR will turn your marketing budget into results oriented activations.  Relationships with numerous media outlets, social media groups, our “Sponsor a Veteran” outreach program, and an owner/driver blog (www.chrisbennettracing.com), prove the NMR team has metrics backed exposure that delivers brand awareness to your business.

No Mercy Racing will also be attending select NHRA Mello Yello events throughout the year and stand ready to take on more bookings when marketing partners are ready to join our team.  The NMR sponsorship window is now open for businesses to join our team as full year partners or individual race supporters.  Contact us now before your competition does.  Schedule of events and links listed below.

    1. Scott, certainly a valid input. Keep in mind those are very limited rules and the intent is to keep guys from blowing their stuff up, oiling down the track, and causing extensive delays. While I agree with you that rules and outlaw are contradictory, these couple of “restrictions” do make sense in regards to giving the fans the best show possible. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

  1. Chris,
Your series sounds like a cool way to have fun, minimal damage, and give the fans, sponsors, and track owners a great show. We here at Husiarmotorsports in Indiana, wish you the best.

  2. Sounds like a great thing to do.
As someone that has built my own funny car the last thing I would want is to blow it up like John Force just did last week at Pomona.
Good luck & great job getting the License!
